📖 Why These Dates Matter Spiritually

These temples open on Akshaya Tritiya, an auspicious day that brings blessings and good luck. It’s believed that starting your yatra on or after this day brings peace and moksha (liberation).

The closing dates are around Diwali or Bhai Dooj, when the Himalayas start freezing and it becomes impossible to visit. After closing, the deities are moved to their winter homes in lower areas.

Tips for Planning Your Trip

✅ Start early in the season (May-June) if you want fewer crowds
✅ Pack warm clothes — even in May, it can get cold in Kedarnath
✅ Register online before the yatra starts (see Blog 4)
✅ Book your travel and stay in advance — hotels get full quickly!
✅ Always check the official website for latest temple opening dates

The Char Dham Yatra is not just a journey to four temples—it’s a journey to the heart of faith. Knowing the right dates and timings helps you enjoy your darshan with ease, peace, and joy. Whether you're going for the first time or again with family, may your yatra bring blessings and happiness. 🌸
